Data-Driven Segmentation and Interactive Visualization Increase Customer Engagement
Coignite has enhanced Geomatic A/S' ability to engage potential customers through the development of an interactive data visualization of their ConZoom® segmentation model. By combining technological insights and data visualization, Coignite has created a digital solution that presents demographic data in a way that makes it easier to access and understand.

The challenge
Geomatic A/S faced the challenge of attracting new customers by presenting their ConZoom® segmentation model in a more engaging way. The previous solution on their website consisted of short descriptions, which did not give potential customers a taste of the rich data insights offered by the model. Geomatic wanted a tool that could demonstrate the value of the model through interactive visualization and thus generate greater interest and engagement from their target audience.
The solution
Coignite developed a solution that allowed Geomatic to present their ConZoom® segmentation model in a more visual and interactive way:
- Interactive map universe: By using pre-rendered tiles with Mapbox, we ensured a fast and responsive map experience where users could explore demographic data and gain a deeper understanding of the population composition in Denmark.
- ConZoom® APIs : The platform provides a small taste of the extensive ConZoom® API, Geomatics' revolutionary platform for demographic analysis. The unique feature of the solution is how data is presented based on the ConZoom® API.
- The One Point of Truth: Directus CMS is used as the core system to handle data, allowing all other solutions to retrieve data centrally. Both Webflow, the website widget and the map universe get data from Directus, so changes only need to be made in one place.
- Interactive web components: Using Vue.js, we developed interactive widgets and infographics that presented complex data in an easy-to-understand manner. This made Geomatics data more accessible and inspiring for the visitors.
- Automated data synchronization: Make.com was used to automate data synchronization between Webflow and Directus, reducing the need for manual entry and ensuring consistency in data updates.
Collaboration
The collaboration with Geomatic has been characterized by a close and iterative process, in which several companies, including Advice, have contributed to creating a unique solution. Together, we developed a design that communicates complex data in an engaging way. Coignite has lifted the technical side of the task by combining low-code solutions with proprietary tools, which has enabled the creation of an innovative ConZoom® universe. This combination has ensured a solution that effectively visualizes complex demographic data in an exciting and user-friendly way. The iterative process and close collaboration have resulted in a solution that not only meets but exceeds expectations.
Results
The implementation of the new platform has made the presentation of the Geomatics ConZoom® model more engaging and interactive. This has resulted in increased customer interaction compared to the previous website. The solution balances the presentation of valuable data with the protection of Geomatics' business model, while enabling the scalable architecture to enable future development and expansion. The platform visualizes over 39 detailed demographic segments on the website as well as an interactive map where you can view data for the whole of Denmark and experiment with segmentation options.
